This is especially true if your business is pre-revenue, pre-profit, requires a lot of initial capital to develop a prototype, or doesn’t possess a strong credit history.

Fortunately, there are alternatives to debt finance for newer or smaller business.

Angel investors are the largest source of investment in start-ups and early-stage businesses looking to grow in the UK.

But who are they and how do you access this type of investor?

This first of a two-part series of in-person events, hosted by Santander X’s Work Café Milton Keynes, will explain what angel investors are, the pros and cons of bringing an angel investor onboard, and what an angel investor looks for in a business.

The event will also highlight the experiences of entrepreneurs and founders that have worked with angel investors.

Join us to hear from and network with these entrepreneurs and founders, as well as representatives from Central Arc Angels and the British Business Bank’s Regional Angels Programme Delivery Partners.

The event will also provide the opportunity for up to three entrepreneurs and founders to ‘showcase’ their businesses.

This event will be delivered in partnership with Santander UK plc and Central Arc Angels.

This event is aimed at individuals new to finance.
