Michael leads the Bank’s work to support both bank and non-bank lenders through a range of structured finance solutions aimed at improving access to finance for UK smaller businesses. This includes the ENABLE Guarantee and ENABLE Build programmes, as well as structured solutions delivered under the Investment Programme.
Michael joined the Bank shortly after its inception and brings over 20 years of experience in securitisation, private credit, and asset-backed finance. His background spans both the private sector and public policy-led finance, including several years at the European Investment Fund.
