We typically commission an independent evaluator who works with us to understand the impact of our programmes on UK businesses. This involves a range of research methods, which generally includes quantitative and qualitative surveys and interviews with businesses and other important stakeholders.
Evaluation research provides important evidence to help inform the direction of current and future market interventions, and allows us to assess whether these represent value-for-money to the taxpayer. How will the data I provide be used, stored, and processed?
We work with market research companies who apply industry best-practices in data storage and processing. Any personal data collected in our evaluation research is processed according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data is anonymised and all findings are aggregated such that individual responses cannot be identified in any research publications produced by the BBB or its contractors.
