Richard is responsible for the design and delivery of a range of British Business Bank programmes that help smaller UK businesses access finance, including the Growth Guarantee Scheme, legacy Covid Guarantees, and funded capital solutions for smaller banks. He also leads first line risk management across our banking products, including the management of counterparty credit risk and non-financial risks.
Richard joined the Bank during Covid, having previously worked on financial institution mergers and acquisitions for a Big-4 firm, where he focused on a range of equity and credit portfolio transactions.
