The British Business Bank first investment was made in 2022 with a cornerstone commitment to SuperSeed Fund II.
Aligns with the Bank’s strategy to support the UK’s most promising companies in Digital and Technology, specifically AI.

This is an investment under the Enterprise Capital Funds programme, through which the British Business Bank takes a reduced profit share. Once original commitments have been repaid, the British Business Bank does not take its pro rata share of profits, with additional returns flowing to private investors. The level of public leverage and profit share is set through a competitive process to ensure the British Business Bank receives a commercially viable return while providing sufficient incentive for private investors to commit capital to venture funds.
