Reason for commitment from British Business Bank
In 2024, the British Business Bank invested £250m in the first venture and growth focused LTAF launched in the market, Schroders Capital UK Innovation LTAF. This commitment was matched by Standard Life, the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. This LTAF aligns with the Bank’s strategy to mobilise institutional capital at scale, particularly from UK pension funds, to invest in the most promising UK companies.
