Antler Management UK Pvt Limited ("Antler UK") is a UK-based investment manager. The firm forms part of Antler, a global early-stage venture platform founded in 2018 that operates across 27 offices on six continents. Antler UK launched its first fund in 2019 and is headquartered in London, investing primarily in UK-based companies at the inception, pre-seed and seed stages, with follow-on participation at Series A.
The investment team includes general partners and principals with prior experience as company founders, operators and venture capital investors. Antler UK takes minority equity positions, typically alongside other institutional and angel investors, and supports founders through a structured residency and follow-on investment process.
Reason for commitment from British Business Bank
This is the Bank’s first commitment to Antler. Antler UK Fund II’s focus on company creation and early-stage investment in the UK aligns closely with the Bank’s objective of strengthening the pipeline of new and investable companies. The fund also aligns with the Bank’s strategy to support the UK’s companies in the Digital and Technologies sector of the Government’s Industrial Strategy.
