Press release
The South West Investment Fund is the first of the British Business Bank’s Nations and Regions Investment Funds to be launched.
The £200m fund increases the supply and diversity of early-stage finance for South West smaller businesses, providing funds to firms that might otherwise not receive investment and help to break down barriers in access to finance across the region.
It offers a range of commercial finance options with smaller loans from £25k to £100k, debt finance from £100k to £2m and equity investment up to £5 million.
The fund covers the entire South West region including Bristol, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.
The British Business Bank has appointed a team of dedicated fund managers to manage the South West Investment Fund. They are FSE Group, FW Capital, Maven and SWIG Finance. Businesses seeking finance should apply directly to the fund managers.
Which fund manager you apply to will depend upon the type of finance you are seeking, and where in the region your business is located.
This video explains what the South West Investment Fund is all about, and introduces you to the fund managers.
