Are you an emerging female investor, whether an angel, general partner, or fund manager considering applying to one of the British Business Bank’s equity programmes for the first time?
We are re-opening applications for our Emerging Female Investor Office Hours; a dedicated initiative designed to support and empower women who are exploring an application to:
- Investor Pathways Capital
- Enterprise Capital Funds
- Patient Capital Funds
- Regional Angels Programme
During your informal, pre-application 1:1 session, you’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with a member of the British Business Bank equity funds team, ask questions, and gain clarity on the process before deciding whether to apply.
We’re breaking down barriers because we believe in the strength of female-led funds and are dedicated to supporting female investors as they grow, succeed, and make an impact.
Who is the initiative for?
Our Office Hours are aimed at female investors that are currently in the process of developing a proposal and considering making their first application to one of the British Business Bank’s equity programmes.
These sessions are not intended for investors who are currently, or have recently, been through one of the programme’s application processes, or for companies looking to raise funding.
Session format
If you secure a place, you will be sent a link to schedule a 30-minute, 1:1 Microsoft Teams conversation with a member of the British Business Bank equity funds team, matched to your experience and programme of interest.
Here’s what you can expect from the Office Hours:
- No warm introductions required. If you secure a space, we will schedule you a session time to speak directly with a member of the British Business Bank team.
- Virtual 1:1 session via Microsoft Teams - designed to make it easy to join, wherever you're based.
- Ask anything, in a welcoming and open space. The session is informal and inclusive for everyone.
- You drive the conversation. We’re here to provide the clarity you need to take the next step confidently.
