Nations & Regions Office Hours

Investor Pathways Capital wants to hear from aspiring first-time venture capital fund managers beyond the established centres of London, Oxford, and Cambridge.

Our Nations & Regions Office Hours are an opportunity to have an informal, one-to-one conversation with members of the IPC team ahead of applications reopening for Cohort 2 in November 2026.

When are the sessions?

Held virtually every Wednesday afternoon between 2:00pm and 5:00pm throughout October and November 2026.

Who are the sessions for?

These office hours are open to individuals who are exploring the IPC Microfund pathway and are based in the UK's Nations and Regions, including:

  • East of England
  • South East (excluding the golden triangle)
  • South West
  • North West
  • North East
  • Yorkshire and the Humber
  • Midlands
  • Wales
  • Scotland
  • Northern Ireland

Session format

  • Informal 1:1 conversations with the IPC team
  • Virtual (Microsoft Teams)
  • Approximately 30 minutes

What can I talk about?

The conversation is led by you. We're happy to discuss the application process, eligibility criteria, or what it's like to participate.

You do not need to have a fully developed fund proposal at this stage. Whether you're exploring an idea or are simply curious to learn more, these sessions are intended to provide an open space for discussion.

How do I register?

  1. Complete the registration form below
  2. The IPC team will be in touch to confirm your place and share a link for you to book a Microsoft Teams meeting.

Important

The sessions are not intended for:

  • Individuals or teams who have recently applied to Investor Pathways Capital
  • Entrepreneurs seeking funding for their businesses

Please note, the sessions will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Based in London, Oxford or Cambridge?

These office hours are specifically targeted at the UK’s nations and regions to broaden awareness in areas with less access to established venture capital networks. This does not affect eligibility for the programme, and we warmly welcome applications from first-time fund managers based in London, Oxford and Cambridge.
