Susan is the Managing Director for Change and Innovation at the Bank. She is responsible for delivering enterprise-wide change and shaping the business strategy for innovation to support the delivery of new products and enhancing existing solutions and services.
She is a commercially focused business leader with over 20 years’ experience in financial services including retail banking, commercial banking and capital markets operations. Susan led the operational delivery for the Bank’s Covid response, implementing the Bank’s first large scale integration programme, transforming systems to ingest and process high volumes of data, and establishing critical operational processes to support scalable growth.
Before joining the Bank, Susan was part of a team that set-up and delivered Microfinance Ireland, a microfinance lending scheme encouraging small businesses to start-up and grow post financial crisis. Prior to that Susan started her career in Allied Irish Banks working across branch and commercial banking roles. Susan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from University College Dublin.
