George Mills Director – Deeptech, Direct and Co-investments

George is an Investment Director in the Direct and Co-investments team where he is responsible for technology investments, with a specialism in deeptech. He joined British Business Bank in 2021 from Business Growth Fund where he focused on early stage investments in tech and deeptech companies. He has been a venture capital investor since 2011, starting his investment career with Høegh Capital Partners. Prior to investing, George founded a technology company. He is a CFA charterholder, a Kauffman Foundation Global Scholar, and holds a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.
