The British Business Bank Chair, Lord Smith of Kelvin, is hosting a seminar for SMEs (8.30-10.30am) at a central location in Glasgow.
The Agenda will consist of a keynote speech from Rt Hon David Mundell MP, Secretary of State for Scotland, followed by panels and Q&A with Scotland’s leading smaller businesses, finance stakeholders and British Business Bank experts. The seminar will be moderated by journalist Kirsty Wark.
Confirmed panellists include Irene Graham, Scale Up Institute, Patrick Graham, Business Growth Fund, Dr Graeme Malcolm OBE, M Squared, Calum Paterson, Scottish Equity Partners LLP and BVCA, Kerry Sharp, Scottish Investment Bank, Ian Connatty, British Business Bank and Catherine Lewis La Torre, British Business Investments.
They will be discussing access to finance, particularly growth finance, in Scotland and how British Business Bank programmes will be supporting access for Scottish smaller businesses to patient capital and longer-term investment.
