As a senior agile HR generalist, you will operate as a member of the British Business Bank’s management team, providing an independent view and objective challenge to people related plans and developments within the function. The HR Business Partner will translate business goals into prioritised HR requirements and ensure the effective delivery of HR services throughout the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of being an HR Business Partner at an operational level within a relevant environment. Previous experience of financial services and a good understanding of public sector will be beneficial. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for the provision of professional HR advice and assistance to line managers concerning resourcing and employment matters through up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
The British Business Bank is a unique and exciting new institution. While 100% owned by the Government, it is managed independently under the governance of a Board of Directors. It has around £3bn of resources and operates as a wholesale institution in a wide range of financial service markets ranging from bank lending to venture capital. Currently, we employ 95 people but we will grow this number to around 120 employees, split between our two offices in Sheffield and London.
